Fundraising diary, 2/9/08

Oh, and the office are being douchebags. Last week, I missed out on Monday's shift because they didn't have me on a team. so I made this shift up on Wednesday - no harm, no foul.
on Friday, they give me a call saying that if I don't make the shift up on Saturday, I'll get a disciplinary. I remind them that I worked Wednesday, and they say thats fine.
today, I get a letter telling me that I HAVE A FUCKING DISCIPLINARY HEARING. not only that, but its on Friday - 20 minutes before my interview. so I have to go in tomorrow to play hell.
You know how they should remember that I made the shift up? Because they were on the fucking doors with me DURING THE FUCKING SHIFT.

Fundraising Report: LCD, 01/09/08
Well, I have randomly decided to report on the fundraising experiences of the night and relate any stories that would mildly entertain.
LOCATION: Holt.
Long story shot, this place is duller than a trainspotters sex life. The whole town is literally divided into two halves: Council House Scally Land and God's Waiting Room. We jumped on the doors at about 4PM, and within about three doors I'd decided I really couldnt be arsed due to the sheer boredom of the day. The signup I did manage to get was an easy one - a nice lady who was into the charity from the word go. The highlight of the day was a in depth political rant/discussion with a woman myself and Ben Starkey signed up right at the end of the night.
Meh.

Seriously, Fuck LJ. yeah, I'm leaving the wastelands of LJ for a grown-up Blog. Here is where I can rant about media stuff and general crap.
TNA is still awesome. great in ring action and decent writing.
WWE has peaked my interest with the championship scramble matches for Unforgiven this Sunday. Not enough to make me order the PPV, but a little. If they weren't so intent on making CM Punk look like a bitch I'd be happier.
UFC's last show was awesome.
Most of the stuff from Japan is still crap. Like this.

So, what am I up to at the moment? well, I'm trying to break in my new keyboard since the old one went to pot. I'm STILL working for homefundraising, but due to an ankle injury I've had to cut down to three days. so I need a new job. fortunately, I have an interview on Friday for an inbound sales advisor position on Friday. 16k per year, and uncapped bonus. So here's hoping.
